HFTP Seeking the Next Leaders of the Association
MARCH 2, 2009 - Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP(R)) relies on the collective vision, knowledge and experience of its members. HFTP is encouraging members to become more involved with HFTP by being a part of its leadership process. The association is currently seeking out members for the 2009 Nominating Committee and for officer and director positions for the 2009-2010 HFTP Board of Directors. Completed applications are due to HFTP by March 18, 2009.
The Nominating Committee, the group that identifies and selects the next generation of leaders, will meet May 1-3 at the Dallas Fort Worth Airport Hyatt Regency to interview those interested in joining the HFTP Global Board and Executive Committee. They will be looking for global leaders that are strategic thinkers and have the ability to see the big picture.
"Serving on the HFTP Global Board has been an all-around rewarding experience," said HFTP Global President Jules Sieburgh, CHTP, a hospitality consultant with O'Neal Consulting. "The collective professional experience of the directors contributes to the growth and success of HFTP, and in return we individually benefit from the leadership opportunity and connections made from working together."
The Nominating Committee Application and Board of Directors Application are both available on the HFTP web site. Those interested in applying for the Nominating Committee, Board of Directors or the Executive Committee, should contact Bryan Wood, HFTP director of certification and board relations, at [email protected], (800) 646-4387 x29 or +1 (512) 249-5333 x29.
