New Embassy Suites Program Allows Guest to Order Items Prior to Arrival

. March 10, 2009

MARCH 10, 2009 - This program further personalizes guests' experience by giving them the opportunity to order complimentary or paid in-room offerings, services, snacks and beverages even before embarking on their trip. By ordering these items or services online prior to check-in, 'Requests Upon Arrival' saves guests time and frustration by eliminating the need to ask for amenities after they arrive in their suite.

'When many hotels are doing away with amenities and eliminating services altogether, Embassy Suites continues to offer its guests more through services and programs like 'Requests Upon Arrival,'' said Rick McCue, vice president, brand performance & support, for Embassy Suites Hotels. 'This is just another way in which we strive to make a difference in our guests' lives by anticipating their needs, saving them time and making their life a little bit easier every day.'

Through 'Requests Upon Arrival,' guests are able to plan ahead with just the push of a button and have amenities like extra towels and blankets, baby cribs and snacks waiting for them in their two-room suite. The Embassy Suites 'Requests Upon Arrival' program features offerings in three different categories: Complimentary, Food & Beverage and Miscellaneous. The 'Complimentary' category consists of items like extra pillows, towels and blankets. 'Food & Beverage' offerings are customized to each participating hotel and range from snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to decadent, tasty desserts. Items and services such as upgraded rooms and an extra rollaway bed or crib for larger families and groups are available in the 'Miscellaneous' category.

Several Embassy Suites Hotels across the country have started offering fun, unique packages to guests through this service:
