MARCH 12, 2009 - Rani Resorts announced the appointment of Andy Conn as the new General Manager of Indigo Bay Island Resort and Spa. Andy looks back on a successful career as a hotelier in Southern Africa.
Born in Durban, Andy was raised in Zimbabwe and got his first job in the hotel industry nearly 30 years ago at the Carlton Hotel in Johannesburg. Since then he has worked for an exciting range of hotels, lodges and resorts across Southern Africa, always injecting his work with his formidable energy and sense of enjoyment. Before he accepted his position with Rani Resorts in January 2009, Andy was Hotel General Manager of the world-renowned 5-star resort Fancourt on the Garden Route, South Africa, home of the Presidents Cup in 2003.
