COPPERSTOWN, NY, April 14, 2009 - The Otesaga Resort Hotel opens for its 100th season on Friday, April 17th, 2009. When it officially opened to the public in 1909, The Otesaga was called the most "complete and luxurious summer hotel in America." Today, this beloved and historic hotel remains one of the country's most storied landmarks whose very presence is inextricably linked with America's favorite pastime. The Otesaga provides a captivating setting for exploring Cooperstown's famed cultural and educational institutions--the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, Fenimore Art Museum, and Farmers' Museum--as well as an array of recreational facilities, including the award-winning Leatherstocking Golf Course.

The package rate is an additional $85 on the regular room price. Room rates start at $425 per night, double occupancy. The Otesaga operates under the Modified American Plan (MAP), which includes dinner and breakfast.
