The Providence Group Forms Villa Consultants International

. October 14, 2008

DUXBURY, MA, December 5, 2005. Jed C. Heller, founder and president of The Providence Group, a management consulting firm for hotel and timeshare resorts, is forming a new division, Villa Consultants International, to serve the luxury villa rental market.

VCI will focus on improving operations, sales and marketing, and overall profitability at client properties. Heller, just back from an assignment at Bon Vivant Villas in Barbados, West Indies, explains that VCI fits his current focus in the hospitality industry. "We can help owners by adding value through our expertise, turning around operations, ensuring a quality experience for the guest--and a profitable operation for the owner," he says.

David R. Lawson, owner of the Bon Vivant villa resort, has been impressed by the results so far. "Heller is bright, doesn't mince words, is results oriented, and a terrific operations person," he says.

Luxury villas cater to today's fast-growing market for affluent travel. According to Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell's Portrait of Affluent Travelers, 86 percent of affluent leisure travelers find five-star service very desirable and 80 percent consider concierge staff and services extremely important. The villas, which often include private pools in secluded beachfront locales, answer those desires with personal chefs, gardeners, housekeepers, and other staff members. Currently, such villas are most often found in the Caribbean and southern Europe.

Villa owners may contact Heller at (781) 582-8785 to find out more about Villa Consultants International.
