Ramesys Holdings to Integrate and Re-brand as RedSky IT

DECEMBER 13, 2005. In line with its strategy to maximize on its position as a leading software application company, Ramesys Holdings has sold its education business for an undisclosed sum and is fully integrating its three remaining application software businesses. The new organization, which brings together the hospitality and travel, retail and construction businesses, will be re-branded RedSky IT. RedSky IT will have revenues of $52m, employ over 350 employees and have more than 30 years' experience in the IT industry.

Within the hospitality sector, Ramesys is best known in the U.K. and U.S. for its Entirety product - a fully integrated property management system providing increased revenue to hospitality organizations, added control and efficiency in operation and improved service to paying guests. Entirety Property Management System (PMS) has been designed to fulfill the requirements of any size of hotel organization, from a single operation to chains of all sizes with the scope for further growth. Entirety provides a unified approach offering the unparalleled ability to control inventory in one location. With total integration from head office to property level, its single image architecture allows staff to always have access to real-time chain-wide information on rate, availability, hotel information and reservations, regardless of where they are within the organization.

RedSky IT has also developed and maintained leading positions in its other main vertical markets and is the leading IT provider to the construction sector and a top supplier to the retailing and manufacturing supply chain.

By bringing together its three main operating divisions into one organization, RedSky IT is now looking to further maximize on its market leadership positions.
