HEDNA Membership Elects New Board Members for 2006

FALLS CHURCH, VA, December 20, 2005. The Hotel Electronic Distribution Network Association's (HEDNA) is pleased to announce a number of newly elected members to sit on its Board of Directors. The Board is instrumental in organizing projects and initiatives that shape the future of HEDNA and the hotel electronic distribution community.
Individuals joining the Board are: Andrew Assante, Vice President of National Accounts for Expedia/Hotels.com; Stephen Fitzgerald, Vice President of Car and Hotel Distribution for Sabre Travel Network, Anwen Parry, Head of Distribution and Brand Marketing for Rocco Forte Hotels; John Ryan, Director of Hotels for Opodo Ltd.; and Kristie Willmott, Director of Distribution and E-Commerce for Jumeirah International. Kristie previously served on the Board of Directors from 2003-2005, in an appointed seat representing the EMEA Region members. John Ryan was re-elected to his seat that he had stepped into earlier in 2005.
These new Board members will now serve alongside Alison Boud, Director of Reservations and Operations for Supranational Hotels, Donald Galbreath, Manager of E-Commerce Systems and Marketing for Marriott International, Keith Harrison, Director of Hotel and Car Relationship Management for Galileo International, Noreen Henry, Vice President of Hotels for Travelocity, Linda Kent, Vice President of Electronic Distribution for Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Andrew Rubinacci, Director of Distribution Planning for InterContinental Hotels Group, Jimmy Suh, Vice President of Revenue Management and Distribution for Kimpton Hotels, and Tiffany Topcik, Vice President of Supplier Relations for ABC Corporate Services. The Executive Director and Ex-Officio Board Member is Heidi Gallacher of the Data Interchange Standards Association (DISA).
The 2006 HEDNA Board Officers are, President: Jimmy Suh, Kimpton Hotels; Vice President: Tiffany Topcik, ABC Corporate Services; Secretary: Kristie Willmott, Jumeirah International; and Treasurer: Noreen Henry, Travelocity.
