(SMS), a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE:PTC) and the leading provider of guest-centric hospitality management systems, is pleased to announce that ARAMARK Parks and Resorts, an authorized concessioner of the National Park Service, has implemented SMS|World, an integrated extension of the SMS|Host Hospitality Management solution on its Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas' Web site, www.lakepowell.com.
Located on the border of Utah and Arizona, Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas offers visitors diverse lake and land activities, including houseboat and powerboat rentals, lodging on the lake and tours to Rainbow Bridge National Monument. As the second largest man-made lake in the U.S., Lake Powell provides stunning scenery that is appreciated by millions of guests each year.
ARAMARK had previously deployed the SMS|Host Hospitality Management Systems' integrated approach for Lake Powell to replace multiple existing systems that ran the property's front office, central reservations and activity management needs as stand-alone applications. This included several optional modules such as Multi-Property Management, Spa/Recreation Scheduling, Ticket Management, Frequent Guest Tracking, Activities Management, Retail Point-of-Sale, and Internet Booking.
