Gail Harding Named Assistant Director of Marketing

Will Assume ResortQuest Hawaii Portfolio of 28 Properties

HONOLULU, HI, Janaury 11, 2006. ResortQuest Hawaii, formerly Aston Hotels & Resorts, has named Gail Harding assistant director of marketing. Harding will manage the execution of marketing activities for the company's 28 properties on the Islands of Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and Hawaii. She will also supervise ResortQuest Hawaii's advertising, public relations, programs, and promotions staff, and oversee the marketing communication account integration of the company's advertising and public relations firm, Communications Pacific.

Harding has more than 25 years of experience in marketing and communications with focused expertise in destination, hotel and resort marketing. Most recently, Harding was the director of consumer marketing at the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau. During her tenure there, she was responsible for creating and implementing targeted marketing programs that integrated consumer advertising, public relations/promotions and travel-trade programs. Prior to joining the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau, Harding held supervisory and management positions at several advertising agencies, including Fawcett McDermott Cavanagh, Mayfield Smith Park, and Starr Seigle McCombs Communications. Her travel industry experience includes working in advertising positions at the Waikiki Parc Hotel, Maui Marriott, Mauna Lani Resort, Hilton Hotels in Hawaii, and Sheraton Hotels in Hawaii where she was advertising manager for seven years.

Born and raised on Oahu, Harding attended Castle High School and Kapiolani Community College.
