Columbia Sussex is Acquirer of Hilton Anchorage for $65 million
FORT MITCHELL, KY, Janaury 10, 2006. Columbia Sussex based here has been identified as the firm that acquired the 600-room Hilton Anchorage in late-December for $65 million, according to local press reports. Initial coverage of the transaction listed the buyer as CP Anchorage Hotel 2, LLC.
Columbia Sussex expects to invest $12 million in property improvements. The hotel will continue to fly the Hilton flag under a long-term management agreement.
Columbia Sussex also owns the nearby Anchorage Marriott Downtown Hotel, allowing the firm to cross sell the two properties.
