LBA Properties Opens Marriott in Clearwater, FL
Begins Construction on 84 room Courtyard by Marriott in Hattiesburg, MS
DOTHAN, AL, January 26, 2006. LBA Properties kicked off the first month of 2006 with the opening of a 79-suite SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Clearwater, Florida, and the construction start of 84-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel at 119 Grand Drive in Hattiesburg, Miss. The Courtyard, LBA's first hotel in Mississippi, is three blocks from the University of Southern Mississippi, and part of the new 40-acre Chauvert Square retail-restaurant-entertainment complex.
As is LBA's tradition, the company opened their doors in Clearwater with the donation of a guest room-ful of furniture to the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate. LBA donates guest room furniture to Habitat in each new hotel market as part of LBA C.A.R.E.S., the company's national community service program.
