Conrad Indianapolis Names Management Team
INDIANAPOLIS, IN, February 06, 2006. The Conrad Indianapolis has hired several executives for its management team. The luxury 243-room property is slated to open in mid-March.
Steve Ellingsen has been named assistant general manager. Ellingsen has worked in the hospitality industry for more than a dozen years. He joins the Conrad Indianapolis from The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa in Texas, where he was director of rooms.
Laura Hamilton has been appointed human resources director. Hamilton has more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Conrad Hotels, she was director of human resources for the Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead, GA.
David Brian Catalon is director of sales and marketing. He joins Conrad Hotels after a five-year period with Ritz-Carlton, where he held the positions of director of performance management and director of sales and marketing in New Orleans, Cleveland and, most recently, Dearborn, MI.
Jonathan Wright has been appointed executive chef. Wright has worked in some of the world's top hotels and restaurants. He joins Conrad Hotels from the Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans.
Bruce Livingstone has been named director of catering. Livingstone was previously with the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, where he was director of catering sales for nearly five years and was a member of the 615-room hotel's grand opening team.
Michael Jakubec is financial controller of the Conrad Indianapolis. Jakubec was formerly with La Touraine LLC and worked on behalf of Sofitel Chicago Water Tower as a controller.
Robyn Cochran has been named director of revenue management. She joins Conrad Hotels from Doubletree La Posada Resort in Scottsdale, AZ where she was director of revenue management.
Brad Lingle is director of engineering. Lingle was previously with Hilton Hotels in Memphis, where he managed all security and building operations.
