Benchmark Appoints Vic Kungli Controller, Cheyenne Mountain Resort
HOUSTON, TX, February 8, 2006. Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Vic Kungli as controller for Cheyenne Mountain Resort, a 316-guestroom property located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Laura Neumann, vice president and general manager for the resort, made the announcement.
"Vic Kungli is a seasoned hotelier with over two decades of hospitality financial management experience in exclusive hotels and resorts across the country," said Ms. Neumann. "It is with great pleasure that I welcome him to Cheyenne Mountain Resort."
Previously Mr. Kungli was controller for the Garden of the Gods Club of Colorado Springs. He has served as director of finance for Aspen Skiing Company's Hotel Division, simultaneously taking on the responsibilities of regional property controller for The Little Nell Hotel, the signature Five Star, Five Diamond Relais & Ch^ateaux Grand Hotel located in Aspen, Colorado. At the same time he served as regional property controller for three additional hotel operations for the company.
Before this, Kungli held the position of controller for Richfield Hospitality and Aircoa Hospitality Services, overseeing five properties, including the 324-room Hilton Head Island Resort.
Mr. Kungli is a graduate of the University of Akron with a Bachelors degree in Financial Accounting. He and his family reside in Colorado Springs.
