Online Security
LAS VEGAS, NV, MARCH 6, 2006. When it comes to installing the most sophisticated, integrated and intelligent online electronic-locking systems for casinos, resorts, timeshare operations and condo hotels, TimeLox has become the No. 1 choice hands down.
In 2005, TimeLox added the new Wynn Resort and the Mirage to its impressive portfolio of Las Vegas mega-hotels and casinos, which includes: The Bellagio, the Venetian, Aladdin and New York New York. TimeLox also was awarded last year the contract for supplying its electronic-locking solutions to other gaming destinations such as: the Wynn Macau, scheduled to open in August 2006 in China; The Signature at MGM Grand, a separate luxury condo facility developed by Turnberry Associates, scheduled to open in May 2006 in Las Vegas; the Cancun Caribe timeshare resort in Las Vegas (140 rooms were added to its already installed base of 600 rooms); and the Seneca Hotel & Casino in Niagara, New York.
"2005 was a very big year," said Ken Brown, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing for TimeLox. "Some of the best hotels in the world selected TimeLox and went online for the first time -- and many others will be opening their doors for the first time this year with TimeLox."
For example:
-- InterContinental Hotels & Resorts will make its debut with an online electronic-locking system from TimeLox with the opening of its InterContinental Hotel in Boston, scheduled to open in May.
-- Westin Hotel & Resorts in Rancho Mirage, Calif., and in Scottsdale, Ariz., will continue installing TimeLox this year - both properties also feature timeshare units.

One for All and All for One
TimeLox sets itself apart from the competition with its proprietary One-Card solution. This exclusive electronic-locking technology was originally developed to meet the specific and unique security needs of large resorts and gaming properties. A player-tracking interface feature allows guests to use their guestroom keycards for access to multiple areas and services, such as game tables, slots, point-of-sale outlets, in-room safes and refreshment centers. Properties with Player Clubs may allow guests to retain the cards for use on their return visit. This system also allows the property to track guest expenditures, making it easy to customize services and optimize marketing opportunities.
The TimeLox One-Card Solution is based on the TimeLox DC-One IR5 (infrared) online-locking system and operates on a dual platform that reads both magstripe and smart cards for maximum system flexibility. It utilizes advanced infrared communication technology, developed in partnership with INNCOM International Inc., to create a cost efficient online solution.
The system offers a host of convenient features, including the ability to relocate guests or extend stay times without the need to re-encode their keycards. It also detects door-left-ajar and immediately cancels lost staff cards without visiting the locks.
"With more than 20 years of development of leading edge electronic-locking systems for hotels, TimeLox is offering the market's most comprehensive range of security features today to the most diverse group of lodging establishments," Brown said. "We'd like to thank our casino, resort, hotel, timeshare and condo hotel customers for partnering with TimeLox in 2005 and we look forward to some very exciting new openings this year."
