Tchenguiz to Market Hilton Portfolio
UNITED KINGDOM, March 17, 2006. The property entrepreneur, Vincent Tchenguiz, is set to put a lb500 million portfolio of ten Hilton hotels on the market in the next few weeks.
The move is to take advantage of strong demand in the sector, the Financial Times reported Friday, without citing sources. The hotels will be put on the market through a sale- and-leaseback deal on long inflation-linked leases.
It is understood that the portfolio includes the Hilton London Hyde Park on Bayswater Road and a number of hotels across the U.K., the FT said.
