Robert L. Wentworth New Hyatt Regency Director of Sales & Marketing

CENTURY CITY, CA, March 20, 2006. Robert L. Wentworth has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City, California. Wentworth will coordinate the sales and marketing efforts for the 728-room hotel.

A seasoned hotel-industry executive, Wentworth began his career with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts in 1983 as a Sales Manager at the Hyatt Regency Kansas City in Missouri. During his 23 years with Hyatt, Wentworth has held numerous sales positions including Sales Manager for the Hyatt Regency Phoenix in Arizona; Director of Sales for the Hyatt Regency Grand Cayman and the Hyatt Islandia in San Diego, California; and Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hyatt Regency Los Angeles and the Hyatt Regency Long Beach, both in California. Wentworth comes to the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza from the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort in California where he served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the past four years.
Wentworth earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan. A native of Los Alamitos, California, he currently resides in Long Beach.
