Minimum Hotel Price Renewed in Greece

ATHENS, Greece, March 23, 2006. Greek Tourism Minister Fani Palli-Petralia with a decision issued on Wednesday extended by one year a ministerial decision setting minimum hotel prices.

It is a move aimed to make Greek hotels more attractive to domestic and overseas tourists and to help in containing inflation in the country.

The ministerial decision on hotel prices would end on March 31, 2006. It will remain valid until March 31, 2007.
