HVS/American Takes Over as Asset Manager of Fisher Island Club

TIVERTON, RI, March 21, 2006. HVS/American Hospitality Management Company. has taken over the asset management of one of the nation's most acclaimed resort hotels: the Fisher Island Club Hotel and Resort, selected by the Zagat Survey as Miami's Best Resort Hotel and by Cond'e Nast Traveler's readers as one of America's favorite exclusive destination properties.

HVS/American Hospitality Management Company is a venture between hospitality consultancy HVS International, based in Mineola, NY, and hotel-management/consulting firm American Hospitality Management Company, based in Tiverton, RI. HVS/American Hospitality Management Company. manages hotels for investment groups as well as lending institutions and has capital available to advance as loans or equity for its managed properties.

The Fisher Island Club Hotel and Resort, a member of Leading Hotels of the World, is part of the historic Vanderbilt Mansion on Fisher Island, off the tip of Miami Beach. The resort hotel is made up of 65 elegant suites, villas, and cottages with views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline. Fisher Island Club features golf, a spa, tennis, two marinas and numerous restaurants and lounges that specialize in a variety of cuisine and dining styles.

The company recently completed a successful stint as asset manager for ownership of the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club, which is in Aventura, Fla., and was recently sold to new owners.
