David Horowitz Named GM for Hyatt Regency Century Plaza

Horowitz to oversee immediate reposition; includes multi-million dollar renovation

CENTURY CITY, CA, March 27, 2006. - David Horowitz has been appointed General Manager for the new Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City, California. Horowitz is responsible for the management, operations and marketing of the 728-room landmark hotel, which begins a multi-million dollar renovation project this spring. Horowitz's appointment was announced by Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

Formerly General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia, Horowitz began his career in the food and beverage division of the Hyatt Regency Washington. During his 23-year career with Hyatt Hotels, Horowitz was promoted to posts throughout the country before becoming General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Westlake Village in Thousand Oaks, California from 1994-1998, and later the General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Irvine in Irvine, California from 1998-2001.

A nominee for the 2005 Donald Pritzker General Manager of the Year Award, Horowitz serves on the Board of Directors for LA INC, Los Angeles' Visitor and Convention Bureau, and the Century City Chamber of Commerce.

Originally from New Jersey, Horowitz, has a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from George Washington University. He and his wife Beth have a daughter, Madelyn and son, Max. His hobbies include spending time with his family, traveling and golf.
