Tourism Society's Annual Conference Debates the Future
A Marketing Revolution?
UNITED KINGDOM, April 6, 2006, The changes and challenges for Tourism Marketing in the UK are the focus of the Tourism Society's 2006 Annual Conference. From strategic crystal ball gazing to exploring the ins and out of the latest digital technology, the event has been pitched to add something of value and interest across the sector.
Professor Victor Middleton OBE FTS, author of 'Sustainable Tourism - A Marketing Perspective', will chair the conference on 16th June at the University of Nottingham. Expert speakers including Guy Parsons, Chief Operating Officer at Travelodge, will debate issues ranging from hotel and destination branding to online, viral, and digital marketing.
A study tour of Sherwood Forest's Living Legend Project, a champagne reception and networking dinner at Nottingham's magnificent Georgian manor, Colwick Hall will take place on the previous day, Thursday 15th June.
