New Hawthorn Launched in Galveston
GALVESTON, TX April 11, 2006. A 230-suite Hawthorn Suites has opened at the Victorian Resort & Conference Center here. A $2-million renovation was recently done at the property, which is managed by Spectrum Organization, Inc.
Located at 6300 Seawall Blvd. and directly across from the Gulf of Mexico, the Hawthorn Suites Galveston features one- and two-bedroom suites with gulf views. Each suite offers a full kitchen and such in-room amenities as oversized work stations, free high-speed wireless Internet access and two-line telephones with data ports and personal voice-mail.
Additionally, guests are offered a daily complimentary hot breakfast buffet, a Wednesday evening complimentary social hour, two outdoor swimming pools and heated whirlpools. Other features include a barbecue pavilion, lighted tennis court, fitness center, game room and fish cleaning station.
There is also more than 10,000 sf of inside meeting space and outside meeting venues available at the conference center.
