Luxury Hotel Set for Outside Atlanta
Solis Hotel and Resort brand hotel
ALPHARETTA, GA, April 17, 2006. In late 2007, Alpharetta will become the home of what some say is the ultimate in luxury hotels, The Stanbury, according to newspaper reports.
The Stanbury, a Solis Hotel and Resort brand hotel, is owned by West Paces Hotel Group LLC and the man steering the project, well-known hotelier Horst Schulze, is a man who knows a great deal about luxury as the result of a resounding career with the Ritz Carlton chain.
As one of the first in the Solis Resort brand, The Stanbury is expected to offer a compilation of the high-end pampering services seen in luxury hotels, like The Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons.
Tucked into the planned 66-acre Prospect Park development at Georgia 400 and Old Milton Parkway, The Stanbury won't be the typical gleaming glass high-rise hotel.
Several Southern-style manor buildings will be set around a central building, with a conservatory and wedding garden as the focal point.
Guests in the 144-room boutique hotel will have access to the spa, banquet facilities and restaurants.
Luxury condominium residences also will be available, with owners enjoying the same amenities as hotel guests.
