Anna Marie Presutti Takes the Helm at Hotel Nikko San Francisco

Japanese Company's First Female Officer; First Female General Manager

TOKYO, Japan, April 19, 2006. Anna Marie Presutti, previously Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Nikko Hotels International, has been promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Hotel Nikko (U.S.A.), Inc., and Hotel Nikko San Francisco. Hotel Nikko (U.S.A.), Inc., is a sales and marketing division of JAL Hotels Co., Ltd., which operates Nikko Hotels International.

Ms. Presutti is the first female to serve as Vice President and General Manager in the history of the hotel chain. She is also the first woman to be appointed as an officer in the company's history.

Ms. Presutti will report to the president of Hotel Nikko (U.S.A.), Inc., Mr. Kenji Uda, who is based in Tokyo. He commented, "In the 18 months that Ms. Presutti has been with our company, she has proven herself an outstanding hotelier in many ways. She has demonstrated that she is a creative yet very practical manager, a great team player, and a leader who sets high standards for everyone else. It is only natural for us to select her to fill the top position at one of our most important hotels."

In addition to her new role, Ms. Presutti is also a member of the board of the Northern California Chapter's Professional Convention Management Association, and will serve as the organization's president for 2007.

Before joining Nikko Hotels International, Ms. Presutti was Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Kimpton Boutique Hotels in San Francisco.
