. October 14, 2008

IRVINE, CA, April 26, 2006. Pacific Hospitality Group, the development and management company of the soon-to-open Meritage Resort at Napa, will build a second similarly named hotel in Healdsburg, 60 miles north in California's Wine Country. Both resorts provide much-needed meeting space in the increasingly popular travel destinations of the Napa-Sonoma wine region.

Preliminary plans for the second Meritage hotel in Healdsburg include 156 guestrooms, a fitness center, spa, wine bar, high-profile restaurant and 7,300 square feet of meeting space. Construction will begin next April, with opening scheduled for May 2008. Between both the Napa and Healdsburg resorts, Pacific Hospitality Group will offer over 21,000 square feet of meeting space in California's Wine Country.

The Meritage Resort at Napa, at the base of the valley's landmark Grape Crusher statue, will open in May. The new resort provides the most meeting space in Napa with a promenade pre-function reception area and a well-appointed grand ballroom that may be divided into ten sizeable break-out rooms. The resort will offer 338 Tuscan-inspired guestrooms including timeshare and executive suites, two swimming pools, two fitness centers, a wine bar and a gourmet restaurant featuring a distinctive menu designed by renowned chef Jeff Longnecker.

In September, The Meritage Resort at Napa will open an immense wine cave, built deep within the hillside under the Grape Crusher, which will comfortably accommodate public wine tastings, private events for over 200 people, and an innovative 9,000 square-foot underground spa.
