NAI Global Hotels; Newest Specialty Group Within NAI Global

APRIL 27, 2006. NAI Global today announced the formation of NAI Global Hotels, a specialized group focused on providing comprehensive services to private and institutional owners, investors, developers and operators in the lodging and hospitality sector.

NAI Global is one of the leading commercial real estate services providers worldwide, and is the only managed network of independently owned commercial real estate brokerage firms. The Company operates in over 175 offices throughout the United States and over 300 offices worldwide.

According to Daniel Beider, the group's founder and director, NAI Global Hotels will leverage NAI's global infrastructure, collaborative processes and technology to help clients identify and act on opportunities more quickly and efficiently. "NAI's local knowledge and global reach are valuable to buyers in today's highly competitive market, particularly those with 1031 monies requiring redeployment," stated Beider, a certified hotel broker based out of NAI Hiffman in Chicago, Illinois. "NAI also represents a highly efficient marketing channel for sellers looking to leverage the relationships our brokers maintain with other hotel investors."

Beider said the NAI Global Hotels team has the deep operations experience necessary to help hotel developers, owners and investors evaluate how a property is performing and assess both short- and long-term risk. "Our specialists have diverse backgrounds in lodging ownership, operations, consulting, development, franchising, finance and architecture," he explained. "We will work with clients to identify undervalued assets and develop turnaround strategies to maximize the asset's upside potential."

Members of the NAI Global Hotels team are based in major hubs around the world. In addition to Beider in Chicago, the founding members of the group include Steve Mills of NAI BT Commercial Real Estate in San Francisco, California; Larry Kingsbury of NAI Huff Partners in Ft. Worth, Texas; Josh Williams of NAI Brannen Goddard in Atlanta, Georgia; Sanjeev Misra of NAI Hiffman in Chicago, Illinois; Phil Miller of NAI Pyramid Brokerage in Binghamton, New York; Jim Mouzourakis of NAI Commercial in Vancouver, Canada; Gary Swedback of NAI Mexico in Tijuana, Mexico; and Graeme Laird of NAI Andrew Park in Bangkok, Thailand. NAI Global Hotels expects to announce several new members in 2006. Paul Reitz, NAI Global's vice president capital markets is the corporate advisor to the group.

NAI Global Hotels is the newest specialty practice group at NAI. Other recently established specialty practice groups include Capital Markets and Logistics.
