Hilton and Anhui Yuanyi Sign Management Agreement
SINGAPORE, May 5, 2006. Hilton Hotels Corporation, the world's leading hospitality company, and Anhui Yuanyi Hotel Company Ltd announced the signing of an agreement for Hilton to manage Hilton Hefei, the latest and most luxurious hotel development in the rapidly growing city of Hefei, capital of Anhui Province in China.
Scheduled to open in late 2006, Hilton Hefei will be located along the bustling Fengyang Road, near the Hefei New Railway Station and Luogang Airport. Hilton Hefei is ideally situated in the commercial centre of the city, in close proximity to government buildings, offices and educational institutions as well as upmarket shopping malls, prominent cultural monuments, museums, temples and scenic parks.
The 26-storey Hilton Hefei, designed by world-renowned Palmer & Turner Architects and Dallas-based interior architectural design firm Wilson & Associates, will provide 566 spacious guestrooms, 8 contemporary food and beverage outlets, and recreational amenities such as a swimming pool, health club and spa. Conference and Banqueting facilities will include a 1,700 square metre ballroom, 6 meeting rooms and 3 function rooms.
