Mari Palace Named GM of Courtyard by Marriott

WATERFORD, CT, June 8, 2006. Waterford Hotel Group today announced the appointment of Mari Palace as General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Warwick, Rhode Island. The property is professionally managed by Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., a national hotel management firm currently operating 27 properties.
Palace will oversee all operational, sales and administrative aspects of the hotel. The Courtyard by Marriott, Warwick has been open since May 2003 and features 92 guest rooms, Courtyard Caf'e, fitness room, indoor pool, The Market- 24-hour self-serve pantry, business center and meeting facilities.
Palace joins the Warwick Courtyard with many years of experience in the hospitality industry, most recently employed as the Assistant General Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott in Cromwell, Connecticut. Previously, she held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing at other Waterford-managed properties since 1998.
