New Hotel-apartment Concept Under Way
Columbia-based CC Development Group brings Value Place's new approach in weekly lodging to Greenvill
GREENVILLE, SC, June 12, 2006. Construction is now under way here for CC Development Group's new Value Place, a hotel-apartment property, near the intersection of Interstate 85 and Chalmers Road. Value Place's "short-term residential" concept offers a new, affordable approach to safer, cleaner lodging.
"Travelers get exactly what they want - clean, affordable lodging, the amenities they need, with options for others," says John Cattano, CC Development's managing partner. "Value Place will fill a need in Greenville's fast-growing economy."
The 121-unit property, at 116 Chalmers Rd., is near the International Center for Automotive Research, a global automotive research and educational center affiliated with BMW and Clemson University. It will open by year-end.
CC Development is also building Value Place properties in the Columbia, S.C., area. The first property is at 931 Spears Creek Court, in Elgin, S.C., a northeast Columbia suburb. It is currently under construction and will open this summer. A second property will be in West Columbia, near the intersection of U.S. Highway 1 and Interstate 20.
The company is planning additional properties in Columbia, Greenville, Macon, Ga., Chattanooga, Tenn., and Lynchburg, Va.
