New Vice President of Restaurant Operations Announced for Kor Hotel Group
Mitch Mehr joins Southern California-Based Kor Hotel Group
LOS ANGELES, CA, July 14, 2005. John Arnett, President of the Los Angeles-based boutique-hotel operator Kor Hotel Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mitch Mehr to the newly created position of Vice President of Restaurant Operations. In this new executive position, Mehr will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of restaurants, bars and private dining in each of Kor Hotel Group's properties. Mehr will also play an active role in the establishment of restaurant operations in all new properties developed by Kor Hotel Group, including the upcoming Viceroy Anguilla and Viceroy Riviera Maya.

Mehr joins Kor Hotel Group with more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including a strong background in restaurant operations for both traditional hotel venues and independent, free-standing businesses. In his most recent position as West Coast Regional Director of Operations for China Grill Management, Mehr oversaw the opening-team task force for a number of distinguished restaurant operations, including those for the Clift hotel in San Francisco, Mondrian hotel in Los Angeles, Red White and Blue Restaurant in Las Vegas and Mix, the premier Las Vegas restaurant featuring Chef Alain Ducasse. Mehr was also responsible for the ongoing regional oversight of these properties as well as for the restaurants China Grill, Red Square and rumjungle, all in Las Vegas.
