Hotel Indigo Houston becomes fourth location for the new hotel brand
JUPITER, FL, June 29, 2006. Driftwood Hospitality Management and InterContinental Hotels Group announced the grand opening of the Hotel Indigo in Houston, Texas, on June 29, 2006. Located in the uptown business district at 5160 Hidalgo Street, the lifestyle boutique hotel is the first Hotel Indigo owned and managed by Driftwood Hospitality and the fourth location for the brand.

Featuring 140 guestrooms, Hotel Indigo is designed for the 'savvy' business traveler seeking a hotel that will provide stylish accommodations and a personalized experience. The specially trained staff will offer 'guest-centric services,' anticipating guests' needs before they are requested.
The lifestyle boutique hotel introduces a 'renewal' concept, incorporating continuous thoughtful changes made throughout the year to provide even the most frequent guest a unique experience with every stay. The renewal elements of Hotel Indigo will include periodic changes to vivid murals, area rugs, plush duvets and slipcovers.
The hotel's lobby will feature oversized furniture to provide personal work or dining space within public areas of the hotel. The guestrooms will include plush bedding, whitewashed wood furniture, hardwood flooring and spa-style showers. In addition, a 'phi'tness studio with cardio equipment and free weights will be accessible to guests. The Golden Bean, the hotel's bistro-style restaurant, offers salads, pizzettas, Panini sandwiches and other entrees, complimented by a Starbucks coffee bar.
Leading the helm at Hotel Indigo Houston is General Manager Joe Zaffuta who has been with Driftwood Hospitality for more than 18 years. Brian Stonessifer will board as the Director of Sales.

The Hotel Indigo brand is quickly expanding throughout the North America, with four new locations open and 20 in the pipeline.
