Elite Alliance Conference Has a Few Remaining Openings

Top Corporate Meeting and Incentive Planner

. October 14, 2008

PALM COAST, FL, August 8, 2006. The Elite Meeting Alliance, an intimate conference of meeting and incentive planners and the best hotels of the eastern U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe slated for September 10-12 at The Club at Hammock Beach, has several slots left for properties that would like to take advantage of the unique forum for forging relationships and booking business. The three day event mixes a slate of pre-scheduled appointments with numerous social opportunities for planners and hoteliers to get to know each other.

"Our successful formula is quite simple," says Kelly Foy, CEO of Elite Meeting Alliance. "We combine corporate planners that normally spend at least $250 per room for their meetings and currently have business to book with properties with a minimum rating equivalent of four Diamonds. Every one of the hoteliers at our western U.S. event this spring raved that this was the most productive, cost-effective conference they've attended."

Corporate meeting and incentive planners already committed to the September event represent such powerhouse companies as Nike, DaimlerChrysler, MTV Networks, Sysco, Cole Haan, Citibank/Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Symantec, Public Storage, Aetna, Allstate, Synthes USA, E! Entertainment Style Network, VA Software, Rust-Oleum, Natural Resource Partners, Yokogawa Corporation, Exostar, Magna Systems, Tastefully Simple, and NOVA Information Systems, among others.

"We're extremely pleased with the caliber of corporate planners, and look forward to showcasing a collection of the best hotels and resorts in the region" says Foy. "Attending properties include The Ritz-Carlton New Orleans, Sandy Lane, The Setai, The Greenbrier, Atlantis, Half Moon Resort, Paradisus Puerto Rico, Mirror Lake Inn, Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa, Reunion Resort & Club, Omni Orlando at Champions Gate, Hotel Valencia Riverwalk, Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa, Kingsmill Resort and many more. We have a few remaining spots that will bring us to our total of 50 properties."

The event will kick off on Sunday, September 10, 2006, at 5:00pm. The next two days will focus on a series of prescheduled 20-minute appointments between planners and hoteliers interspersed with networking opportunities across a superb selection of events that include golf, spa treatments, tennis, and other local activities and receptions at The Club at Hammock Beach in Palm Coast, Florida, just outside of Jacksonville. "We look forward to accommodating such a prominent group of corporate planners and hoteliers at our property, and we are excited to show them everything that The Club at Hammock Beach has to offer," says the property's vice president of sales and marketing, Tom Belton.

The Elite Meetings Alliance is a semiannual event designed exclusively for 75 top corporate meeting and incentive planners and 50 of the best hotels and resorts in the world. 2007 will see two more events - the Spring event will focus on properties west of Texas, with the Fall event focusing on properties in Texas and further east.
