Shangri-La Launches maximice
JUNE 16, 2009 - Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has launched MaxiMICE - a rewards initiative that gives meeting organisers more of what they want to ensure top quality meetings and also provides the ability to stretch the corporate meeting budget with a 10 per cent credit towards their next meeting.
From now until 31 December 2009, MICE organisers who confirm a meeting group will enjoy a 10 per cent credit, which they can use for their next meeting at any of the 62 Shangri-La hotels and resorts worldwide. Applicable to any Shangri-la hotel service and with a maximum credit of US$5,000, MaxiMICE offers meeting organisers attractive rewards for their business and long term savings. This group-wide incentive programme provides extra value to meeting organisers and the credit is valid until 31 December 31 2010. Organisers can enjoy this attractive offer for any bookings with a minimum of 10 rooms, plus the use of meeting facilities.
"At Shangri-La, we understand the budget pressures that busy event organisers face - needing to maximise their returns without compromising the standard of excellence in delivering successful events. Our event customers tell us that Shangri-La's exceptional meeting experience means they want to come back, and we seek to develop long term business partnerships with organisers and therefore we are rewarding repeat events with budget stretching incentives" said Kent Zhu, group director of sales and marketing.
Offering over 130,000 square metres (over 1.4 million square feet) of meeting space, Shangri-La features more capacity for small and large scale meetings and conferences than any other Asia Pacific luxury hotel group. Facilities include pillarless, high-ceilinged ballrooms of up to 2,240 square metres, state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and sumptuous catering, all enhanced by Shangri-La's exceptional hospitality.
