Francois Sigrist Named GM of Parkroyal Penang in Malaysia
SINGAPRE, 30 July, 2009 - Pan Pacific Hotels Group announces the appointment of Francois Sigrist as General Manager of Parkroyal Penang in Malaysia.
An established hotelier since 1981, Francois' previous appointments were with hotel companies such as Four Seasons, Shangri-La and InterContinental. A Swiss national, Francois' geographically diverse experience spans Geneva, Switzerland and USA to Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia. His last position was at Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa in Langkawi, Malaysia.
His appointment at Parkroyal Penang also brings Francois back to the state he previously spent nearly a decade at as General Manager at Equatorial Hotel. Francois' love for Penang, as well as his intimate knowledge of the popular holiday destination, are invaluable in his new position.
