Solicitation of Recommendations for a Questionnaire Revision
AUGUST 21, 2009 - The Office of Travel and Tourism Industries (OTTI) announces that it is seeking public comment and recommendations regarding the revision of its questionnaire content and format. The current survey version has been in effect since 1996 and it is expected that the revised survey, in all twelve languages, will be implemented in January 2011.
Recommendations will be accepted up until 5:00pm (EST), Friday, October 1, 2009.
You are invited to take the opportunity to improve the survey instrument which produces information used by numerous public and private stakeholders.
The Survey is an extensive primary research program that provides a unique repository of origin-destination data about international travelers who visit the U.S. (Inbound) and U.S. travelers who visit abroad (Outbound). It investigates trends in traveler characteristics, behavior and expenditures.
