. September 16, 2009

SEPTEMBER 16, 2009 - Best Western International has announced the opening of Best Western Premier Amaranth Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel, a newly-built high-end hotel catering to the needs of upscale business and leisure travelers while also serving the residential and commercial community surrounding Bangkok's international airport.

' This is our 18th Best Western Premier hotel in Asia and our first in Bangkok and it is a fine example of the Best Western's luxury product,' said Glenn de Souza, Best Western International Vice President International Operations for Asia.

'Best Western Premier delivers upgraded services and enhanced amenities with international sense and style complemented by the refined essence of each hotel's cultural and geographical setting,' the executive continued. 'The result is that the hotel goes beyond guest expectations, whether they be business or leisure travelers.'

'While we are re-launching the Premier brand with service, amenity, d'ecor and image upgrades starting 2010, BWP Amaranth already meets all the new applicable standards and as such gives guests an opportunity to experience the future of Best Western Premier today.'

The seven-story, 278-room hotel includes 238 deluxe suites and 39 Executive Club Floor rooms. Thai contemporary style influenced by modern Western refinement characterizes the d'ecor. All rooms include IDD telephone and a large work area as well as LCD flat screen TV with cable channels.

Other Best Western Premier standard amenities include complementary WIFI access in all guest rooms and public areas and electronic key card room access.

Food and beverage facilities comprise Bua Chompoo, a smart-casual all-day dining a la carte and buffet restaurant, a classic Japanese restaurant, Red Brown, a lively lobby lounge and bar, and a pool bar.

Recreation amenities include a large, landscaped swimming pool and gymnasium featuring state-of-the-art fitness equipment. Ama Spa offers a range of massages and beauty treatments for the weary traveler, delivered by expert therapists in a stylish yet tranquil atmosphere.

Full banqueting and conferencing facilities are also offered. The Amaranth Ballroom has a capacity of up to 800 guests while smaller rooms are designed to host 30 classroom style conferences. All are fully equipped with high-end audio visual amenities. Business guests are also served by a deluxe business center.

For guests' convenience, the hotel operates its own shuttle bus services to and from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport as well as to BITEC Convention Centre, Bangna, and major points of access to downtown Bangkok.

'Besides its style and services, Best Western Premier Amaranth Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel's big advantage is its location at the heart of the thriving business community that is growing up around the airport. It also means guests can easily reach central Bangkok or drop across to a resort along the coast,' pointed out Mr. de Souza.

'With the emphasis the government is placing on catalyzing business and the tourism sector in particular, we are looking forward to seeing the hotel play key role in facilitating certain aspects of that. But above all, Best Western Premier's accentuated customer focus promises to deliver original guest experiences that symbolize the best of Thailand with impeccable international standards throughout.' Glenn added.
