Starwood Resort to Offer Sea Breezes, Magnificent Views and Unrivaled Amenities

WHITE PLAINS, NY, Janaury 5, 2006. Overlooking one of the broadest white sand beaches on the Atlantic Coast, The Resort at Singer Island gives meeting and event planners a new contemporary venue option in Palm Beach County. With an expected early 2007 opening, on the primarily residential Singer Island, this fabulous beachfront resort launches an entirely new South Florida destination. The $210 million, 21-story project is the first new resort to be built on Singer Island in the past 20 years. Flexible meeting rooms at the five-star caliber new resort offer a total of 4,000 square feet of indoor function space with an adjoining 2,500 square foot poolside and oceanfront terrace, including a romantic wedding gazebo. Event space is enhanced by 239 all-suite guest rooms ranging from 800 to 2,100 square feet in one and two bedroom configurations, featuring full kitchens and high tech workspaces.
