JANUARY 9, 2007. As British travellers demand more than just a beach from their holidays, the Destinations Show welcomes exciting new representation from across the globe to its 13th event in London.

Amongst newcomers to the Event are Taiwan Tourism Bureau and Colombia Tourism. The presence of these lesser discovered destinations reinforces consumers desire to go off the beaten track and meets the needs of Destinations independent, discerning audience looking for fresh inspiration.

Luisa Urue~na, Tourism Advisor for the Colombian Government Trade Bureau comments: ''The aim is to change global perceptions so Colombia is perceived in a positive light on both an economic and social level...We have chosen to exhibit at Destinations in London as we feel this is an excellent way to reach the consumer, especially those interested in visiting new, undiscovered destinations and to encourage them to discover all that our county has to offer'

Along with these destinations, an array of unusual tour operators, from Alaska's Hallo Bay bear tours to Go Russia's tours of KGB and other top secret sites will showcase for the first time to this travel savvy market.
