Strategic Announces Appointment of Board Chairman
JANUARY 11, 2007. Strategic Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (NYSE:BEE) announced today the appointment of William A. Prezant to Chairman of the company's Board of Directors. Mr. Prezant, a current Director, also has been appointed Chairman of the company's Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee.
Mr. Prezant, 60, is a Partner in the law firm of Prezant & Mollath and practices in the specialty areas of business and fiduciary law in the states of California and Nevada. He serves on the Board of Directors of MacGregor Golf Company, Torrey International Strategy Partners LLC and Torrey U.S. Strategy Partners LLC, both registered management investment companies, Forward Management LLC, a financial services company, and ReFlow Management LLC, an investment advisor. Mr. Prezant is also a member of the Advisory Board of The Prescott Group, LLC, a real estate investment and asset management company.
