Hilton Appoints Mustafa Suer as General Manager of Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead
Global hospitality leader Hilton (NYSE: HLT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mustafa Suer as general manager of the award-winning Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead. Suer brings over 20 years of international leadership experience, having led luxury hotels and resorts across three continents under brands such as Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. His appointment marks a return to Atlanta, where he previously held a leadership role with IHG. In his new role at Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead, he will oversee all aspects of hotel operations for the 127-room property, including the hotel's signature restaurant Brassica,15,000-square-foot spa, intimate function spaces, and more.
Known for his strategic vision and ability to inspire high-performing teams, Suer has consistently delivered record performance and elevated service standards throughout his career. He most recently served as hotel manager of Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach in California, guiding the Forbes Four-Star property to record performance and accolades, including Condé Nast Traveler's #25 Best Resort in the World and Travel + Leisure's #2 Resort in Southern California in 2024. His career also includes key senior roles in hotel operations, food and beverage, and property openings at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown and the InterContinental Washington, D.C.
