Carlos Rodriguez Named Director of F&B for JW Marriott Hotel Miami

MARCH 30, 2010 - The JW Marriott Hotel Miami announced today that it has appointed Carlos Rodriguez as Director of Food and Beverage. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing all of the food and beverage operations for the five-star amenity hotel.

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, this 19-year veteran of the hospitality industry brings an extensive catering and banquet background. Rodriguez has held senior positions in food and beverage operations in major properties throughout the Americas.

Most recently, he served as the Director of Restaurants & Bars for the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel in Atlanta and prior to that he served as the Director of Food and Beverage at the Costa Mesa Marriott in Orange County, California.

“We are delighted to have Carlos lead our F&B team,” said Florencia Rotemberg, General Manager of the hotel. “His vast experience and industry knowledge will be extremely valuable as he oversees one of the hotel's major areas of focus.”
