Benchmark Appoints Michael Polese Director of Rooms

HOUSTON, TX, January 12, 2007. Benchmark Hospitality has appointed Michael Polese director of rooms for The Heldrich, the $110 million mixed use property being constructed in the heart of New Brunswick, New Jersey. Mike Taylor, Benchmark's general manager at The Heldrich, made the announcement.
"It is a pleasure to welcome Michael to The Heldrich," said Mr. Taylor. "He has experience in multiple disciplines within hospitality management, which will serve him and the property well as we move toward opening."
Michael Polese brings extensive experience in hospitality operations, technology and telecommunications to his new role with The Heldrich. He was most recently general manager of the Four Diamond Westminster Hotel of Livingston, New Jersey, a position he was promoted to after serving two years as the property's director of rooms.
Prior to this, Mr. Polese was vice president of development for RBS Computer Corp. of Short Hills, New Jersey, where he was also a partner in the business. He joined RBS as director of operations.
Polese has served as support manager and applications trainer for Ramesys of Edison, New Jersey. He began his career with a position in hospitality as front office & lobby manager for the landmark Omni Berkshire Place, located in Manhattan.
Michael Polese is a graduate of Columbia College at Columbia University in New York City. He resides in Secaucus, New Jersey.
