Sunny Isles Beach, FL - September 14, 2010 - Trump International Beach Resort, a contemporary Mobil 4-star oceanfront resort located in the exclusive enclave of Sunny Isles Beach, has appointed Linda Geyer as General Manager. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the marketing, operations and performance growth for the 390-room oceanfront resort.

Ms. Geyer brings more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has led all aspects of hotel operations including marketing management, financial performance, guest loyalty and associate engagement. Most recently, she acted as the Owner's Representative for Trump International Beach Resort's developer, Dezer Properties.

“It is my pleasure to welcome Ms. Geyer to the position of General Manager,” says Michael Dezer, Founder of Dezer Properties. “Her vast experience, industry knowledge and proven success make her an unparalleled candidate for this position.”

Prior to joining Trump International Beach Resort, Ms. Geyer served as General Manager for two Starwood Hotel & Resort brands, The Sheraton Suites Key West and The Atlantic Resort & Spa in Ft. Lauderdale, Starwood's first luxury full-service condo hotel project. Throughout her leadership at both properties, Ms. Geyer was credited with achieving significant financial growth, “award-winning” associate engagement, and the designation as “Best in Class” guest loyalty. She also repositioned both hotels as a business that supports and contributes to the local community.

Before joining Starwood in 1998, Ms. Geyer spent nearly a decade in a unique hospitality position as Head of Food, Beverage and Entertainment Operations of the Navy's 240 worldwide clubs. In this role, she led a corporate team that conducted worldwide analysis and research to develop market-driven concepts that resulted in multi-million dollar profit improvements. She was also the catalyst for the “Changing Corporate Culture” program, a plan to improve customer and employee recognition and satisfaction. This resulted in the establishment of a corporate team dedicated to the initiative and the successful worldwide rollout of the “Star Service” program in Spring 1998.

An active member of the community, Ms. Geyer has served on a variety of business development and non-profit boards including Florida Keys District Advisory, Lodging Association, Fort Lauderdale Business Improvement District, Association for Retarded Citizens (ARC), and American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. In addition to her corporate awards, she is the recipient of the Florida Keys Leadership Award, Florida Keys General Manager of the Year and ISPI Training Development Award.
