Trustive Teams up With The Cloud
JANUARY 19, 2007. Trustive has signed an in-bound roaming agreement for its retail customers with The Cloud, Europe's leading wholesale WiFi network operator.
The agreement will allow Trustive's retail customers to access The Cloud's 8,500 locations across Europe, including major airports such as London Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted, as well as city zones and railway stations in the UK, Germany and Sweden. This enables Trustive to further extend its retail services in each country and opens up a wide range of business and leisure locations for its customers.
Trustive offers seamless hotspot access to people on the move, through a unified global network of hotspots. Following The Cloud agreement Trustive retail customers now have access to over 20,000 hotspots including prime locations and coverage at all major EU airports.
Gavin Dresselhuis, co-founder and managing director of Trustive, said: "We are very pleased to be working with The Cloud. This agreement significantly increases the size of our network to over 20,000 hotspots, and will provide our customers with access to some of the prime wireless hotspot locations in Europe."
Niall Murphy, CTO of The Cloud, said: "The Cloud is focused on a vision of providing people with seamless and easy to use wireless broadband mobility so that they can get access to the online resources and experiences they depend upon. Central to this vision is ensuring users can access the network in their own chosen way and as part of a consistent network access experience. We're pleased to have Trustive, a leading European wireless hotspot access provider, join The Cloud's network. Now Trustive users can benefit from the high speed access available in thousands of locations and across the city zones where The Cloud provides WiFi access in the UK, Germany, the Nordics and The Netherlands."
