WELCHES (Mt. Hood), OR - November 12, 2010 - Skiers and boarders can be the first ones to hit the slopes this season when they stay at The Resort at The Mountain.

In an exclusive deal with Skibowl, guests at The Resort, a premier ski, spa and golf destination located on the western slope of Mt. Hood, will have early access to Skibowl's Upper Bowl on the first day of the season, allowing them to stake out the freshest snow, avoid lift lines and carve the first tracks of the year for one hour before the slopes open to the public.

The Resort's First Tracks package is available only for the night before Upper Bowl's opening day, which is dependent on snow conditions. Guests may book their package for any time they think Upper Bowl might be set to open, but guests will need to reschedule their reservation when the actual opening date is announced. The First Tracks package includes two lift tickets with early access to Skibowl, a 960-acre recreation area that includes 65 runs; and overnight accommodations at The Resort, which offers a courtesy shuttle to and from Skibowl and features signature amenities including Simmons© Beautyrest Black™ Beverly Hills™ plush memory foam beds wrapped in luxury linens, rain head showers, spa robes, Green Natura bath products, 42” plasma TVs and WiFi Internet access.
