Experienced Hospitality Veteran Expected to Help Foster Significant "Green” Hotel Growth

Robbinsville, NJ - December 7, 2010 - Energy-efficiency and sustainability services firm, EcoGreenHotel LLC, recently named Chris Lewis the Director of Energy Solutions. In this role, Lewis will be responsible for managing all strategic hotel energy projects and advancing innovative green solutions to help clients reduce their environmental impact and operational costs.

Lewis joins at an opportune time as the hospitality industry starts to rebound and interest in EcoGreenHotel's E2A, Energy Efficiency Analysis, program proves to be a valuable investment for hotel owners and operators. “We are grateful to work with several leading management companies, whom we've been able to directly lower operational costs by implementing property-specific sustainable strategies,” remarks Parisi.

Through a collaborative process with facility managers, engineers, technology specialists, financial experts and legal counsel, the energy solutions team assists facility owners and property management to conduct energy analysis, develop project scope, arrange financing and incentives, and improve their properties. Their mission is to develop and implement actionable plans that save energy, lessen impact on the environment and improve cash flow for their clients in the hospitality industry.

“We are currently managing energy efficiency analysis and projects in twelve states totaling over one million dollars in implemented technologies; it was time to add an individual with Chris's experience to our team,” Parisi adds.

Lewis has more than 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry both in the U.S. and abroad with both Full and Select Service hotels. His responsibilities include facility management, food and beverage, renovation, construction, new openings and multi-property management. Prior to joining EcoGreenHotel, Lewis served as Development and Construction Manager for OTO Development, a hospitality development company. His expertise includes mechanical systems, equipment specs, purchasing habits and standard operating procedures. Lewis was also responsible for “green initiatives” deployed at several properties that successfully qualified to achieve Florida Green Lodging, EcoRooms and EcoSuites, California Green Lodging and Irvine Build Green certifications.
