Craig Hanlin Swings into Action at Hombre Golf Club
December 8, 2010 - The Resort Collection of Panama City Beach announced that Craig Hanlin has joined the company as general manager of golf at Hombre Golf Club. Hanlin's primary responsibility will be to supervise staff and ensure all guest needs are met, as well as planning and budgeting for all club related events. The Resort Collection is a property management company representing six beachfront resorts, one championship golf course, a shopping center, and real estate organization.

The Hombre opened in December 1989 with 18 holes and hosted its first PGA Tour event in 1990, The Panama City Beach Classic. In 2001, Hombre added the “Good” nine holes (3170 yards, par 35) to complement the original course's “Bad” and “Ugly.” With three separate nine-hole courses—“The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly”—Hombre offers three different 18-hole options.
Prior to joining The Resort Collection, Hanlin held multiple positions including head golf professional at The Club at Osprey Cove in St. Mary's, Georgia, and director of resort golf and head golf professional at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Miramar Beach, Florida.

Dan McGrath, former general manager of Hombre for 20 twenty years, has taken a position with the accounting team at The Resort Collection. “We value Dan's dedication and are thrilled he will remain with the company in his new role as accounting manager,” said Mike Stange, chief operating officer for The Resort Collection.
