December 20, 2010 - Distinguished® International Hotels, Inns and Resorts is very pleased to welcome Bob Eyton-Jones, General Manager and his team at Hotel Chez Swann in Montreal, Canada as the newest member to its portfolio.

After two years of careful and thoughtful renovations, this Tudor building is now a four-star hotel that has everyone in Montreal redefining boutique hotel. Under the artful eye and inspiration of the talented and acclaimed designer Mary Moegenburg, every space is accented with splashes of vivid color, unexpected furniture, lamps and art pieces, most of which were specifically designed for the hotel.

The inconspicuous façade suggests nothing of the complete surprise that awaits guests as they enter the hotel to find a somewhat surreal theatrical sensual surrounding. From the dramatic white walled entrance way that becomes blue by night with its neon green blackboard, to the snakeskin ottomans, tree trunk tables, grass like carpets, and art films projected onto the lobby wall, every detail has been meticulously thought out of the box.

Inspired by Marcel Proust's Swann's Way, all three room types, La Mondaine (suite), La Demi-Mondaine (junior suite) and Le Boudoir (standard) have been masterfully crafted to continue the sensorial experience; plush red bay window banquettes, brocade headboards, black lacquered armoires, red loveseats, blue velvet armchairs, and peek-a-boo shower stalls with ultra modern shower massage jets and swirling motifs over the vanities, are just a few of the design creations.

Restaurant, bar/lounge, complimentary WiFi, state-of-the-art spinning room plus a selection of small meeting rooms completes the experience. The hotel is centrally located right in Montreal's vibrant downtown core within walking distance to upscale restaurants, bars and shops, festivals, museums, events and concert halls.
