Newport News, VA - January 13, 2011 - The Mumford Company, once again, represented affiliates of Allen Management in the sale of the Econo Lodge of Bristol, Virginia to KESHAV, LLC. The purchasers plan to renovate the facility and retain the Econo Lodge franchise affiliation.
This is the fifth hotel transaction in which Mumford Company has successfully represented this selling group in the past two years. This acquisition is also the second sale between the principals of the buying and selling entities in the past 100 days.
The 47 room property is located in downtown Bristol on the Virginia/Tennessee state line and within minutes to the Tri-City airport. Area demand generators such as mining operations, educational facilities and a regional medical center are all within minutes of the hotel. NASCAR's Bristol Motor Speedway & Dragway draw guests from around the world.
