Penn National Names Chett Harrison GM of Boomtown Biloxi
JANUARY 24, 2007. Penn National Gaming, Inc. (Nasdaq:PENN) announced today that effective immediately, Chett Harrison has been named General Manager of its Boomtown Biloxi property. Mr. Harrison, who had been serving as the Assistant General Manager at Boomtown Biloxi, succeeds Pat Murphy, who recently announced his retirement.
With over thirteen years of gaming industry experience, Chett Harrison has served as Assistant General Manager of Boomtown Biloxi since August 2006, after joining the facility as Director of Marketing in January of 2001. Prior to joining Boomtown Biloxi, Mr. Harrison was Director of Marketing at the Palace Casino in Biloxi where he was responsible for the promotion and marketing surrounding the opening of its 234-room hotel. He began his career at Copa Casino in Gulfport, Mississippi where he performed various marketing functions for the facility as well as its parent company, The Sands Regency Hotel and Casino in Reno, Nevada.
