Denihan Hospitality Group Names Donald Fraser GM for Royal Palm, Miami Beach

New York, NY - March 9, 2011 - Don Fraser has been appointed General Manager for the Royal Palm in Miami Beach, Fla., the most recent addition to Denihan's portfolio of boutique lifestyle hotels. The announcement was made by Brad Wilson, Denihan's chief operating officer.

With 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Fraser previously served concurrently as Denihan's Corporate Director of Operations and General Manager of Affinia Dumont in New York City. Under his leadership, Affinia Dumont was honored as Denihan's 2009 'Hotel of the Year' and achieved the highest Associate Satisfaction within the company.

Prior to joining Denihan, Fraser was General Manager of Hilton Newark Penn Station in Newark, N.J.

Fraser began his career with Hyatt Hotels Corp. as a corporate management trainee in Columbus, Ohio, and later held various management positions at Hyatt Regency O'Hare and the 2,019 room Hyatt Regency Chicago. Fraser eventually returned to Greater New York where he held several housekeeping and rooms positions at a number of hotels, including the New York Palace, The Roosevelt Hotel and Hilton Parsippany.

Fraser received his Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel/Restaurant & Institutional Management from Purdue University.

The 407-room Royal Palm (www.royalpalmmiamibeach.com) enjoys a prime beachfront location in Miami's South Beach on Collins Avenue, adjacent to Ocean Drive. The property will undergo a complete renovation and redevelopment commencing in mid-2011. Specifics of that project will be released prior to that time.
